Arena of Valor is on its way to commence the mid-season esports tournament in Thailand. The Arena of Valor Premier League 2025 is knocking at the door. Scheduled to start this June, the event will share a bigger prize pool and introduce the wildcard round, which was last used in 2023. However, the major league in AoV has appeared closer, and this article will cover all the details about it.
Arena of Valor Premier League (APL) 2025: Schedule and Format
The event will kick off on the 26th of June 2025 with 16 teams as the contenders. It will have two stages: the Swiss Stage and the Playoffs. In the first stage, matches will take place from 26th to 29th June and 2nd to 6th July.
All the teams will play 5 rounds of the Swiss Format, where each round will feature similar record teams against each other. There will be no regional protections for this stage. So, teams from the same league will compete with each other.
Apart from any match that is a decider, the rest of the matches will be BO3. Teams that reached 3 wins in the Swiss advance to the Playoffs. The Playoffs will follow a double-elimination bracket starting on the 10th of July. Round 1 matches will be BO5, while all the other matches will be BO7. This round will follow a Global Ban Pick rule.

Prize Pool
