HK Adma Tech Limited has announced to launch of their side-scrolling action RPG, Date A Live: Spirit Echo, on iOS on July 30, 2025. This is a re-release of Date A Live Spirit Pledge HD, which was discontinued globally on May 20, 2023, with the Japanese version discontinued on February 28, 2025.
Fight or date the Spirits and save the world
Date A Live: Spirit Echo is a side-scrolling action RPG based on the popular Date A Live light novel and anime series, by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. This is a rerelease of the original from September 2018, which also had an enhanced HD version that launched in 2022.

Set in Tenguu City, the story follows a world shaken by mysterious Spacequakes caused by the arrival of Spirits. These adorable beings from the Otherworld are seen as threats, but instead of fighting, you can also win their hearts through dates. Only you have the power to seal them, making your choices crucial.
The game brings back high-speed battles, heartfelt bonds, dating locations, and more
I hope this time the game doesn’t get discontinued, as I want to experience its adrenaline-filled, action gameplay. The combat looks fast-paced and fun, letting you smash your enemies with cool skills and combos. Moreover, it’s also packed with various dating locations and anime-inspired scenes.
I’m also excited to form deep bonds with these Spirits, which looks fun. The original was loved by many, and this re-release surely looks promising, offering stunning character illustrations, multiple costume variations, hidden voice lines, and more.
Date A Live: Spirit Echo is set to launch on iOS on July 30, 2025. You can now pre-register for the game from the App Store. The game will also release on Android, though it’s not yet available on the Google Play Store.
