Netmarble has released the first content update for their open-world RPG, GoT: Kingsroad, now available on mobile and PC. Titled The Drowned God Wakes, the new update brings new content to Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, which includes seasonal updates, a new region, a fierce beast, content mode, and more.
Explore the Crow’s Nest and face treachery and a fierce beast in Stormlands
You can now explore a new region called The Crow’s Nest and its surrounding lands, located south of the Stormlands. Here, you’ll cross paths with Stannis Baratheon, who prepares to march north in response to the Night’s Watch.

If you’re new to the GOT lore, he is Robert Baratheon’s brother and claimant to the Iron Throne. However, betrayal strikes as the mercenaries he hired to bolster his force seize Griffin’s Roost, forcing him to call on you to retake the castle and uncover this conspiracy.
I’m excited about this region, especially because it is packed with new quests, sub-quests, ruins, bounties, and more surprises. What’s better, as you travel through this area, you’ll also face Shadowcat, a new ferocious beast, standing between you and your journey across Westeros.
Team up to defeat the monstrous Kraken of the Iron Islands in the new Raid mode
Apart from the new area, this update also brings a new content mode called Raid, where you must unite to take down the first Raid Boss, Kraken. Lurking in the north of the Sunset Sea, this massive sea creature is capable of destroying entire ships, as depicted in A Song of Ice and Fire novels.

This update looks very fun, letting you team up and engage the Kraken in combat while onboard a ship. To beat this legendary denizen, you’ll need to have proper team coordination and mastery of unique mechanics.
Seasonal updates
It has also added seasonal content, which includes Wormwalk, Beyond the Wall Expeditions, Bounties, Sub-quests, and Events. These additions offer even more ways to engage and expand your journey across Westeros. With new activities rolling out, I’m excited to dive into the game and try them.
