StarSavior announces closed beta test (CBT) for mobile, kicking off on July 23 in South Korea

  • StarSavior is a turn-based RPG with anime-style visuals, a rich story, character training system, and more.
  • This CBT will let you explore the main story, playable characters’ journey arcs, and more.
  • CBT applications are open until July 22, with a global test expected in the future.

Studio Bside, the creator of Counter:Side, has announced a closed beta test (CBT) for their highly anticipated RPGStarSavior, set for July 23 to 29 on both Android and iOS. Initially introduced as Project Star, the game was revealed last November with plans for release in the latter half of 2025.

Become the Savior of a fading world in StarSavior

If you’re still unaware, StarSavior is a fantasy turn-based RPG, featuring an immersive story in animation-style 3D visuals. Set in the Nebula Observatory Organization (NOA), you play as a Savior, embarking on a journey to inherit the power of the Stars and ultimately save the fading world.

You can look forward to playing with a variety of charming characters and taking advantage of the training system, which allows you to interact with the characters and prepare them for upcoming battles.

How to apply for the StarSavior CBT

The good news is that StarSavior is gearing up to kick off its closed beta test (CBT) from July 23 to 29 on Android and iOS, in South Korea. A spokesperson from Studio Bside revealed that the game is in its final development stages and is planned for a launch later this year.

Here’s how you can apply for StarSavior’ upcoming CBT:

  • First, visit their official website.
  • There, tap on Apply for CBT.
  • Now, select either Google or iOS, and provide your email address.
  • Fill all the boxes and tap on Apply for CBT button, and you’re done.

You can sign up for the CBT until July 22, but I suggest you apply sooner for a better chance at getting access. If you’re selected, you’ll be notified via the email address you provided to participate in the test.

That said, although I wish I could participate, I’m excited to see the gameplay, the main storyline, especially the Journey arcs of a variety of playable characters.
