NetEase Games has launched its latest June 2025 update on its battle royale title, Blood Strike, introducing a new Striker, fan-favourite M1887 Shotgun, Trinity of Deathfire mode, and more.
Let me give you a full overview of Blood Strike’s June update, which is now live in-game.
Blood Strike, the action BR features various Strikers, each with distinct active and passive abilities, and they have added another one to the growing roster. On top of that, there’s a new weapon too, with more weapon levels, along with a time-limited mode, a new Strike Pass, and a variety of free rewards.
Introducing LUCIAN, the new Striker
LUCIAN, hailing from the hidden bio-research lab, Shadow Corridor, was created by an ancient noble family. Enhanced with neural amplifiers and bioelectric camouflage, you should pick him and take advantage of his heightened perception and pseudo-sleep ability.
I’m excited to try this Striker, which can be unlocked for free by reaching Level 15 in the Strike Pass. His Pseudo-sleep ability lets you place a totem device, teleporting you to the totem’s location when you’re downed. Then there’s Echolocation, which emits ultrasonic waves to scan and locate nearby enemies.
New Weapon – M1887 and Weapon system updates
You can now try out the M1887, a new lever-action shotgun that’s not only a beginner-friendly and versatile shotgun but also packs solid damage in combat. You can increase your Strike Pass level to try this new shotgun, and check out its spinning reload and one-shot potential.
Along with M1887, the game has also added new weapon levels, letting you now level it up to 100. By leveling up, you can unlock extra rewards such as more Camo, crosshairs, Attachments, Weapon Master titles, and more. Moreover, you can now inspect any weapon right from Level 1, which is a great addition.
There’s also a new Weapon Display Rack in the Training Ground, which shows off all the weapons you’ve earned a Weapon Master title for. Plus, earning Weapon XP is also now much easier and more balanced across game modes. A new attachment brand, BAS, is now available for M1887, boosting performance.
Trinity of Deathfire Mode
In this time-limited mode, you can use the Kar98k, M1887, and Magnum for that classic gunfight experience. Your goal is to increase your kill streak, as the more kills you rack up, the stronger your armor gets, but it resets when you die, so be careful.
If you’re on the highest kill streak, you’ll become the Bounty Target, much like bounty modes in other games. But the best part, according to me, is that when you become the Bounty Target, your screen gets a cowboy-style filter, which looks cool.
EVO Squad Fight with new rules
The game has added new rules to EVO Squad Fight. The first being right after Round 3, an EVO platform will appear in the middle of the map, and you can gain temporary EVO skills by capturing it. For competitive fairness, Cliff Town has been temporarily removed from this mode.
Nightfall Strike – Strike Pass
Nightfall Strike is now live in-game, and by upgrading the free version, you can unlock the new Striker and Gun, along with a free vehicle skin, Off-road Car – Magenta.
For those who love spending money, the Elite Edition includes 520 gold bars, Playpal – Finger Spinner, Ultra-level RAN skin Nightfall Maiden, and more. And if you plan to get the Premium Strike Pass, you can unlock the new Ultra-level QBZ95 skin, Throat of the Phantom Machine, and more rewards.
Other Events and Activities
You can also take part in the following activities:
- Match Challenge Event: It is now live in-game, and by completing missions from now until June 22, and June 30 to July 6, you can earn free Gold Stash Vouchers.
- The Hero’s Trial: The second phase of this will be live from June 23 to 29, giving you a chance to earn more free Gold Stash Vouchers.
- Weekly Activity Gift event: By completing matches from June 20 to 22 and June 27 to 29, you can earn free Gold Stash Vouchers.
