A Legendary card has joined the Clash Royale arena with the launch of Season 73. Called the Spirit Empress, this card is not only free to unlock but also brings a unique gameplay with her dual forms.
To use her well, it’s important to plan around both forms. Some decks work better with her ground version, while others are built to support her flying form. Let’s take a look at the best decks that help you get the most out of the Spirit Empress in different decks.
Best decks with Spirit Empress to use in Clash Royale
A quick intro for this card. Depending on how much Elixir you have when you play her, she appears either as a ground fighter or as a flying ranged attacker, making her one of the most flexible cards added this year.
Table Of Contents
When deployed with 3 to 5.9 Elixir, the Spirit Empress fights on the ground and deals strong melee damage, much like a Mini P.E.K.K.A. But if you have 6 or more Elixir, she transforms into a flying unit riding a dragon, gaining more health, and attacking from a distance.
You don’t get to pick the form manually, it changes based on your Elixir count at the time of play. Because of this, building a good deck around her means planning for both forms and knowing when to use her depending on the situation.
1. Spirit Empress, Ice Spirit, Tesla, Miner, Poison, Golden Knight, Log, Skeletons
Average Elixir Cost: 3.1
This deck is all about outplaying your opponent with fast cycles and chip damage. Miner + Poison is the main win condition, while Spirit Empress provides excellent value both offensively and defensively, and since it is a quick cycle, you can easily get the elixir you need.

Golden Knight’s dash chains well when defending spam or stacking units. Tesla holds the ground as your main building, and Ice Spirits evo sneaks in for surprise damage. Skeletons and Log are just there to cycle quickly and help with cheap control.
2. Spirit Empress, Goblin Cage, Electro Dragon, Elixir Golem, Battle Healer, Night Witch, Heal Spirit, Tornado
Average Elixir Cost: 3.8
This high-risk, high-reward deck floods the board with unstoppable pushes. The Elixir Golem serves as your tank, supported by Battle Healer to sustain the push. Spirit Empress is a nightmare to remove in this setup, especially in air form.

Electro Dragon evolution helps in controlling the skies, while Tornado and Cage round out your defense. Once you get your healing units stacked, this deck can destroy opponents, especially if the enemy doesn’t have Rocket or big spells; they’re going to struggle.
3. Spirit Empress, Mortar, Skeleton Barrel, Goblin Gang, Knight, Fireball, Log, Spear Goblins
Average Elixir Cost: 3.4
Another quick cycle deck that has its advantages. The Mortar and the newly added Skeleton Barrel will be your win condition, while also being a constant irritation for the opponent. The idea is to pressure constantly with these two, forcing your opponent to always defend them.

Then the rest of the cards come into play. Spirit Empress fits in nicely for defense and counter-push. Knight tanks up front, while Goblin Gang and Spear Goblins bait out spells. You’ll rely on Fireball and Log to clear swarms or heavy hitters, which balances out the deck.
