- Inferno Dragon evolution arrived with the Season 72 June 2025 Update.
- With the evo at the helm, new combinations can used to build the decks.
Clash Royale has brought in another new Evolution this year with the introduction of Inferno Dragon, and as we can see, many decks have already started using this card. This guide will exactly pick the best ones from what I have tried, and help in sharing the strategies that works well.
Best Inferno Dragon Evolution decks to use in Clash Royale
Arriving with the Season 72 ‘How to Evolve Your Dragon’ June 2025 Update, Inferno Dragon Evolution keeps the same stats but adds a new ability called Beam Momentum. With this, the evolved Inferno Dragon keeps its beam charge for up to 9 seconds after changing targets.
This means it can keep melting through enemies, including Crown Towers, without starting over. The evolution triggers every second cycle, so one out of every three placements, the Inferno Dragons will be evolved. So, on this note, let us see the best decks we can use.
1. Inferno Dragon, Royal Giant, Electro Dragon, Barbarian Barrel, Fire Spirit, Furnace, Guards, Lightning
Average Elixir Cost: 3.9
This deck would be a killer if we had a chance to use three evolutions in regular battles, but that’s just me getting too far ahead. Royal Giant is your win condition, and Furnace helps chip and stack Fire Spirits to support him.

I found Electro Dragon surprisingly clutch in double elixir when I used the evo version, but here we use the non-evo. Lightning clears out annoying support troops like Musketeer or Witch. Guards give you that cheap ground defense against things like Prince or Miner. What I liked was how safe this deck feels. Copy the deck here.
2. Inferno Dragon, Valkyrie, Royal Hogs, Fireball, Zappies, Zap, Bats, Magic Archer
Average Elixir Cost: 3.6
Two evolution picks in Inferno Dragon and Valkyrie makes this deck deadly. The Royal Hogs pressure is real, especially if you manage to bait out Fireball with Zappies or Magic Archer. Valkyrie holds the ground well and supports lane swaps if you split push.

Inferno Dragon gets amazing value when left unchecked, and the Magic Archer helps with cheeky chip damage. It’s not the easiest to defend huge beatdown pushes, but if you keep the pressure up, your opponent doesn’t get to build a proper one. Try out the deck here.
3. Inferno Dragon, Mega Knight, Royal Ghost, Bats, Zap, Tombstone, Miner, Skeleton Barrel
Average Elixir Cost: 3.4
This one’s a blast to play if you love bait and counterpush. Mega Knight gives you that massive push value, especially when paired with Bats or Skeleton Barrel on counter. I kept cycling Miner to chip away while the opponent struggled to keep up with the spam.

Tombstone is your building and distraction, which helps you buy time for Inferno Dragon or Mega Knight to clean up. Royal Ghost is also a great utility card here, dealing damage while tanking for Miner or Skelly Barrel. A strong deck from what I experienced, so test it out here.
That wraps up my take on the best decks for the new Inferno Dragon Evolution in Clash Royale. If you have any other deck recommendations, please leave them in the comments. Until then, read other related Clash Royale articles:
