Cookie Run: Kingdom introduced an Awakened version of Hollyberry Cookie, an Ancient Cookie that has been released in the 6.5 Version ‘Battlefield of Passion’ update. This will be a Cookie Run: Kingdom Hollyberry Cookie (Aegis) guide on how to build, obtain her, and level her up.
Awakened Ancient Cookies are a part of their original upgrade, where the Cookies will have a new set of skills, gameplay, kit, character design, and background upgrades. Once you awaken your Ancient Cookie, it cannot go back to its original abilities.
Awakening an Ancient Cookie acts similarly to ascending it. Players will need to get 20x Soulprisms (similar to Soulstones) and awaken their Cookie. Or they can pull on the limited-time Nether-gacha to obtain 1 copy of the Cookie. Keep in mind that Awaken Cookies are an extension of the original Ancients and are not a separate entity.
How to obtain Hollyberry Cookie (Aegis) in Cookie Run: Kingdom
Hollyberry Cookie (Aegis) is an Ancient Cookie and hence can be obtained through the Gacha. Legendary and the Cookies above the Rarity get their Limited Rate up Banner when they are initially released, where players need to obtain exclusive wish currency to pull for them.
- Rainbow Shell Gallery: Located inside Touc’s Trade Harbor after you upgrade it. The SoulPrisms can only be exchanged for the Rainbow Pearls currency, which can be obtained by shipping various goods through the Ship Harbor. You can obtain 1x SoulPrism Cookie. The Shop resets every 2 Days, so players have to keep a lookout for which SoulPrism Cookies come out every rotation.

Play-style and Skillset

Hollyberry Cookie is your team’s super tank, but with extra flair. She charges into battle with her shield, and while it’s up, she takes on a chunk of the damage that was meant for your other Cookies (except stuff like Poison or Burn).
While doing this, she also protects the team by lowering how much Crit DMG they take and making them less affected by damage debuffs. As she absorbs hits, she builds up two things: Seeds of Life and Steelbound Passion. If she takes enough damage, the seeds bloom into the Berry of Life, which heals her over time and boosts damage resistance.
Meanwhile, building enough Steelbound Passion (or dropping low on HP) triggers her Steelbound Guardian state. This makes her invincible for a bit, heals her big time, resets her skill cooldown, and makes her final hit way stronger, based on how much damage she took.
She also has special perks for being a Steel-type Cookie: bonus damage in an area, some damage bypass depending on her Max HP, and extra healing when other Steel-types are low on HP. Overall, she’s hard to kill, shields the team, and gets stronger the more she’s hurt. (Cooldown: 13 seconds)
