Crystal of Atlan Class Tier List: Best Classes Ranked
Crystal of Atlan includes five base Classes: Fighter, Magister, Puppeteer, Swordsman, and Musketeer. You can then choose from their 11 advanced classes: Berserker, Magiblade, Cloudstrider, Starbreaker, Gunner, Bounty Hunter, Warlock, Magister, Elementalist, Scytheguard, and Blade Maiden.
That said, each class brings its unique skills and playstyles. Some are very strong when it comes to dealing damage, others shine at crowd control, and a few might struggle in both. Moreover, how well these classes perform in PvE and PvP can also vary, so finding the right fit is important.
So, to clear the confusion, I’ve listed the best classes in both PvE and PvP game modes in Crystal of Atlan in three tiers: Strong (S), Good (A), and Weak (C).
Crystal of Atlan: Best Class for PvE
This is based on how good each Class performs in solo and co-op dungeons.
Tier | Classes |
---|---|
Strong (S) | Berserker, Starbreaker, Scytheguard, Warlock |
Good (A) | Cloudstrider, Magister, Bounty Hunter, Magiblade, Gunner |
Weak (C) | Elementalist, Blademaiden |
Crystal of Atlan: Best Class for PvP
Tier | Classes |
---|---|
Strong (S) | Scytheguard, Cloudstrider, Warlock, Berserker |
Good (A) | Bounty Hunter, Starbreaker, Magiblade, Blademaiden |
Weak (C) | Gunner, Elementalist, Magister |
Warlock Class
This newly added class has become one of the best picks for PvE dungeons, and as an advanced class of Magister, you can use its powerful AoE skills like Chaos Tide and Dark Vortex, which are great for clearing.

Plus, it’s passive, Resentful Curse, lets you stack marks on enemies and unleash huge damage. With its high DPS, self-healing skills like Harvest Soul, and decent crowd control, you can try this advanced class for PvE runs. While it’s decent for PvP, other classes perform better there.
Scytheguard Class

Scytheguard, a subclass of Puppeteer, is another great pick for PvE runs. She’s great at defence and brings solid value to the team’s survival. You can wield a massive scythe, dish out sweeping attacks, and utilise her crowd control skills. You can also offer healings and buffs, making her a great support and a valuable pick even in PvP, with disruptive abilities, shields, and even solid damage.
Berserker

If you want aggressive, high-risk plays, Berserker is perfect for you. In PvE, you can deal massive damage that scales with HP, like lower the HP, the more damage output. In PvP, this Swordsman advanced class is perfect for close combat, but needs good support like Scytheguard to protect you.
Starbreaker

Another class great for close combat is Starbreaker, which is an advanced Fighter Class. With this, you can deal explosive attack damage, so clearing dungeons and elite bosses in PvE is easier. Even in PvP, it performs well thanks to its solid CC, brute force, and Core Engine mechanic, which amplifies abilities.
Cloudstrider
If fast combos, quick movement, and versatility, Cloudstrider is a very fun Fighter Advanced class to play. In PvE, her mobility and high AoE damage are great for clearing enemies. And she really shines in PvP, as you can move around the enemy while inflicting heavy damage, though she is challenging to master.

Blademaiden

Blademaiden, a Puppeteer subclass, lets you control a Marionette while dishing out damage with a light whip. In PvE, she’s great for clearing mobs with AoE zones. In PvP, she excels in team fights with skills like Magnetic Force Field, but smart positioning is crucial to utilising her effectively.
Magiblade

If you want a flexible, jack-of-all-trades class, Magiblade offers both sword and magic play. In PvE, it’s reliable across most situations. In PvP, it’s decent but lacks standout burst or tankiness, best for players who value adaptability.
Elementalist
If you want to unleash big elemental spells, Elementalist brings eye-catching AoE magic. In PvE, it’s flashy but risky due to long casts. In PvP, it can zone well but is easily interrupted, best suited for patient, strategic players.

Bounty Hunter

If you want to enjoy hit-and-run tactics, Bounty Hunter brings dual pistols and quick bursts. It’s great in PvE for clearing mobs while dodging damage. In PvP, you can outplay enemies with rolls, grenades, and well-timed shots, though it needs good aim and timing.
Gunner

If you like staying at a distance, Gunner lets you rain down damage safely. In PvE, it’s solid for clearing waves, but it lacks mobility. In PvP, it falls behind due to slow setup and weak defense, better as a support DPS than a main threat.
