The game comprises two types of in-game currencies. The first one is Free Currency:
1. Gold
How to get Gold in Crystal of Atlan
Gold is the universal, non-premium currency in Crystal of Atlan. There are many ways to get this currency for free, including various in-game activities. You can clear Nest and Valley in the Void Realm from Challenges to obtain 31,200 Gold, and clear Abyssal Purgatory in Adventure for 30,000 Gold.
Not only that, there’s also Critical Conquest, where you can earn 19,920 Gold. You can also sell your unwanted gear for Gold, sell items at the trading center, participate in events, and complete quests. In short, if you use your energy properly, you can gather a huge amount of Gold daily.
Where to Spend Gold in Crystal of Atlan
First of all, you can use Gold to buy items in the Consignment House, and also buy Enhancements. Next, the best use case, you can sell Gold to get Prismadium in the Consignment House. For instance, you can sell 100k Gold for 36 Prismadium or 500k Gold for 178 Prismadium. You also need Gold for upgrades and crafting items.
2. Bound Gold
How to get Bound Gold in Crystal of Atlan
Unlike normal Gold, you can’t use Bound Gold for buying tradeable items in the Consignment House or the Shop. That said, you can obtain them mainly from Tempered Trials, Arena, and Duel of Bonds from Challenges. You can obtain one-time rewards by clearing every 15 floors, which also scales.
Where to Spend Bound Gold in Crystal of Atlan
You can only use these untradeable Gold for account expenses, including Enhancements, buying Hunting Permits, and so on. You can’t use them in the marketplace like the tradeable Gold.

How to get Opal in Crystal of Atlan
Opal is a premium currency, and you can purchase it directly from the in-game Shop. You can also get them by purchasing the Adventurer’s Manual, Phantasium Pass, and various Packs. You can get them by selling gold for Prismadium and then using Prismadium to purchase Opals and the Trading House.
Where to Spend Opal in Crystal of Atlan
You can use Opals to purchase various highly valuable items in the Shop and the Consignment House, like Outfit pulls, pet banners, converted into Gold, and more. You shouldn’t use them irresponsibly and save them for pulling outfits and pets.
2. Prismadium
How to get Prismadium in Crystal of Atlan
Prismadium is another special currency, which you can also earn for free by selling Gold to other players via the Consignment House. Similar to Opal, you can also purchase Adventurer’s Manual, Phantasium Pass, and Collector’s Manual. You can get 30 Prismadium as a daily login gift from the Phantasium Pass.
Where to Spend Prismadium in Crystal of Atlan
You can use these Prismadium only to purchase items in the shop, like Transfer Stones, Soul Stone, Catalyst, Outfits, and more, and you can’t use them to buy Gold like Opals. It is also used as a seller’s fee in the consignment house when you trade for Opal with Gold.
