How to level up quickly in Crystal of Atlan

By following these valuable tips, you can level up easily in the game:

1. Start with the Main story and unlock Elite modes

To me, the most efficient way to level up early is by playing through the Story Mode, eliminating enemies, and clearing all quests. This gives you proper experience, unlocks new, better rewards, and gears to get you started. As you progress, you’ll unlock Elite Modes of these stories, which are more challenging.

While challenging, you also earn better rewards, which are great for farming extra experience, rare materials, and even Gold while playing in familiar environments. So, I suggest you stick to this before jumping into Abyss and Void Realm content, which becomes helpful for clearing the last 10 levels in-game.

2. Equip and upgrade your Gear

Next, you should focus on good Gear, as they play a major role in your overall power, and keeping them close to your level is very essential. You can earn them by clearing dungeons or crafting them using various materials. To avoid facing progression slowdowns, make sure to keep upgrading them.

Moreover, specific gear comes in sets that provide you with extra bonuses when you equip them together. To make it better, many of these sets are often craftable, so you should craft them, although they can be time-consuming. You can check our Gear crafting guide for a better idea of this.

3. Make sure to unlock various Seals, Talismans, and Relics

As you progress, three more gear slots unlock for you via quests in the Rhine City, apart from the existing 9 gear slots. At Lv50, you unlock Seals, Talismans in Lv55, and Relics in Lv60, with each providing new ways to power up.

These contribute to Resonance Levels, which further increase your power based on your gear’s upgrade levels. To explain to you in simpler words, Gear items like Book of the Blessed Dusk, which is a lv60 Pink Relic Armor, offer more bonuses depending on the total enhancement levels of all your gears above lv50.

4. Prioritize equipping Outfits

While outfits are simply cosmetics in most games, it has additional use cases in CoA, like granting stat bonuses. You can even go ahead and mix and match a few pieces of the same grade, like S-Grade or SS-Grade, for various set effects without focusing on a single collection.

You can purchase or summon outfits like Unrestrained Sapphire clothing through the in-game shop. Moreover, if you care about aesthetics and dislike how they look, you can simply toggle off their appearance options in the Outfit tab of your Gear section, while keeping the stats intact.

5. Level and upgrade your pets

If you’ve checked out our Pets guide, you must know that Pets provide active and passive skills, along with crafting bonuses. What makes it better is that you can equip two at a time, with one fighting alongside you, while the other is on standby. Plus, their abilities rotate based on cooldowns.

Now, simply equipping them is not enough, as leveling them, you can increase the buff stats they provide to you. You can level them using experience Cards, and also upgrade them using Hearts and various fruits like Ultimate and Talent Fruit for active and passive abilities.

6. Take advantage of Circuit bonuses

Circuits are stat-boosting add-ons that you can install in most of your gear except Relics. Moreover, they are available in various rarities, and the better the quality, the more bonuses you receive. To make it better, you can even switch them out at any time, without having to worry about penalties.

You can upgrade circuits using Circuit Components or by letting go of unwanted ones. By upgrading levels, you can increase the Main Attribute bonus while also unlocking sub-attributes at certain intervals, like every 2 levels.
