eFootball 2025 has arrived with a new set of players you can choose from, with the Club International Cup Selection June 2025 Nominating Contract. While there’s no ultra-meta standout here, some names do shine for their reliability, so let us discuss them.
Antoine Griezmann
- Position: SS
- Playstyle: Hole Player
Griezmann‘s version in this pack brings his excellent ball control, dribbling, and offensive awareness into play. He seems to excel in build-up or counter-attacking setups as a link between midfield and attack. His curl and finishing make him deadly around the box.

He does lack physicality, and it is a huge miss, but he makes up for it with skill. That pace can be bumped up to the 80s, and although not enough, I feel it is still servicable. A strong pick for players who love creative second strikers.
Omar Marmoush
- Position: CF
- Playstyle: Goal Poacher
Marmoush is a fun card with great pace and finishing. His acceleration and speed make him a solid choice for counter-attacking formations. Offensive awareness can be pushed higher, but having it at 90 seems to be a soft spot.

He’s best when used as a pure, through-ball and shoot type of finisher rather than a link-up striker. That passing doesn’t cut it for one-twos, and that physical contact is a dud. Not a must-have, but fun to use in themed squads or if you prefer pace-driven CFs.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
- Position: CMF
- Playstyle: Hole Player
Milinkovic-Savic‘s card is one of the more complete midfield options in this pack. His passing, ball control, and physical strength are top-tier, making him suitable for both creative and box-to-box roles. He also brings strong aerial ability to the midfield.

If you’re building around a physical, possession-heavy midfield, he’ll feel amazing. His defensive numbers are usable, too. An underrated engine that holds the game together in both attack and defense, but to utilize that Hole Player style, make him an AMF.
Gonzalo Montiel
- Position: RB
- Playstyle: Offensive Wingback
Montiel stands out for his pace, balance, and excellent stamina. The numbers on him look good to be average dribbling, but he can pass decently. His solid engagement and tackling make him useful in defense as well.

His work rate and stamina make him a consistent option on the right flank. For an offensive fullback, he can be a reliable defender, with decent numbers in defenders with aggression, too.
Alan Varela
- Position: DMF
- Playstyle: Anchor Man
Varela is a classic no-nonsense DMF with good defensive stats and strong balance. He excels in breaking up play and circulating the ball. His defensive awareness and stamina are great, so he’ll sit deep and control midfield effortlessly.

He doesn’t offer much going forward, but his pace is good, can pass well. Heading a miss out, so surely needs a strong, tall partner beside him. For players who want a pure anchoring presence, Varela delivers.
Alex Telles
- Position: LB
- Playstyle: Offensive Wingback
Similar to Montiel, Telles is an attack-first full-back who is an all-rounder too. His speed and stamina are excellent, making him a reliable crosser and overlapping option.

However, his defensive numbers are average. So if you plan to use him, make sure he’s covered by a solid CB. He fits best as an LMF because he is a better fit there.
Here’s my ranking of the cards, based on older card experiences and stats.
Tier | Players |
---|---|
SSS (Overpowered) | None |
S (Strong) | Griezmann, Milinkovic-Savic |
A (Good) | Marmoush, Telles, Montiel |
B (Average) | Varela |
C (Below Average) | None |
These cards are decent, I don’t see overpowered, but there are some interesting picks on offer that you can get. But strictly, don’t spend your contracts here unless they are expiring. That’s what I’m practising, I don’t see a class player here.
