eFootball 2025 POTS Spanish League Pack Review and top picks to consider

KONAMI’s eFootball 2025 continues its Player of the Season (POTS) celebrations with a fresh batch of stars, this time from the Spanish League. Just like the English League pack, this one features 20 well-rounded cards, many of which offer great value for your eFootball coins.

Now, while plenty of these players make for dependable squad depth or situational options, a handful rise above the rest. Let’s dive into the top five picks from the Spanish League POTS pack, followed by a quick shoutout to some other solid choices.

1. Oihan Sancet

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player

My favourite pick from the pack. I have tried many of his cards before, including the POTW card, which was amazing, but this is a big upgrade from what we had yet. He offers the best balance between power and finesse among midfielders here.

His movements into the box are intelligent, and he connects passes good, although I can see Lofted Passes being a little troubling. If you’re looking for a hole player with a more physical frame who also feels elegant in possession, this card will surprise you.

2. Robert Lewandowski

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

A faster Lewandowski here, and I’m sure Barca fans would be delighted. His player ID is really good, so this makes yet another solid version of the world-class striker. He’s still strong, smart with positioning, and a fantastic finisher.

Dribbling is good, although I would expect that wouldn’t be enough for those silky feet tricks. He can finish and head the ball both. Misses out on Aerial Superiority, and since we can’t give skills, it is surely a miss in my opinion, but I don’t see a major problem with it.

3. Alex Baena

  • Position: LMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker

This card is just elite. Baena comes in as a complete attacking midfielder in the pack, and his stats don’t lie. He feels silky in-game with high 80s on ball control, dribbling, tight possession, low pass, and acceleration.

His stamina looks good for a creative player, and with the utility he offers, he can comfortably operate in both central and wide setups. That unique blend of agility and passing vision makes him such a top pick. He can also be a scoring threat with reliable shooting stats.

4. Raul Asencio

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer

Fast Destroyer CB who can defend well, pass decently, and is a really good player ID? Yes, you get all of them from this Raul Asencio card. Defensive numbers look solid, close to the mid-90s, and you can get the complete performance with that.

But here comes with weakness, Heading. The height is decent, but a 72 rated is pretty abysmal for the CB. Still, the pick is fantastic with a tall CB paired with him. He won’t feel like a truck for sure.

5. Julian Alvarez

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

The only reason I have him in fifth is that we have so many of the good Alvarez cards that he is hard to categorise. Still, while not unique to this pack, this Alvarez card is a must-have striker for someone looking for an all-rounder.

Getting a Goal Poacher role, he is more aggressive now, gets into great positions, and finishes with consistency. His movement and reaction speed make him lethal inside the box, and he can be that creator too, with two CFs. A reliable and exciting poacher-type striker.

Special Mention: Takefusa Kubo

  • Position: RMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker

Kubo is a proper dribble-first wide playmaker, and this version nails that identity. He’s sharp on the wings, can cut inside with ease, and has the acceleration to cause trouble against defenders.

For those who love a smooth card to play with, this is the card that makes every attack feel exciting. He also works well in both wide RMF and central roles.

Here are reviews of other cards.

  • Isco (AMF/Creative Playmaker): May not be what he was in his prime, but this card is such a smooth operator. Good on the ball, passing is brilliant, stamina and physicality are his weaknesses.
  • Javi Guerra (CMF/Orchestrator): A well-balanced midfield option with solid passing and dribbling. Has good stamina too, can play in multiple positions, but doesn’t have that awesome factor.
  • Joan Garcia (GK/Offensive GK): Good numbers, everything in the 90s, still, overall presence doesn’t compare with top-tier keepers. Jump in the 70s is a miss.
  • Mika Marmol (LB/Defensive Full-back): Very consistent defensively with decent speed and stamina. Doesn’t offer much offensively, can play CB too, although I wouldn’t recommend.
  • Oscar Mingueza (RB/Offensive Wingback): Can play both RB and emergency CB due to his pace and acceleration. Offers solid passing, too, but his defensive game seems to be lacking. Works well as a rotation fullback or sub.
  • Yangel Herrera (DMF/Box to Box): Great stamina and solid across all areas. Not a top-tier card, but it offers a physical, all-action presence in midfield. Useful CMF option if you ask me.
  • Dodi Lukebakio (RWF/Prolific Winger): Utility card, awesome across multiple areas. High speed and excellent dribbling make him dangerous down the right. However, he’s not very strong physically, so make note of that.
  • Ante Budimir (CF/Target Man): Classic big striker with dominant heading and physicality. Through-ball spammers stay away, but if you rely on long balls or crossing, he can be very effective, especially off the bench.
  • Mauro Arambarri (DMF/Box to Box): Similar profile to Herrera. A hard-working midfielder with solid balance across defense and passing. Good CMF option again.
  • Florian Lejeune (CB/Build Up): Huge physical presence with strong tackling and heading. He’s slow and a bit heavy on the ball, though, so pair him with a quicker CB.
  • Luis Perez (RB/Offensive Wingback): A very quick fullback with high stamina. Seems to have a good cross in him, but that’s about it.
  • Dani Rodríguez (AMF/Creative Playmaker): Smooth ball carrier. Not the fastest, but very balanced for a deeper AMF role.
  • Dani Raba (RMF/Creative Playmaker): Another utility card in this pack. Decent numbers all around, that Inconsistent form is a bother.
  • Kike Garcia (CF/Fox In The Box): Another not so pacy old-school forward with good finishing. Gets good finishing and aerial ability
