KONAMI’s eFootball 2025 has arrived with yet another update, this time v4.5.0 with a lot of new additions. Along with the Club International Cup Campaign, we see a few changes. Although not a major update, we’ll see what has arrived.
Club International Cup Campaign
The Club International Cup Campaign celebrates a showdown between the world’s top clubs with a series of exciting events and rewards. By logging in daily throughout the campaign, you can earn a total of 320 eFootball Coins.
Free Chance Deals are also available during four different periods, giving you access to exclusive players from the Special Player List just for logging in. The main event is the Club International Cup, a tournament where you take on clubs in VS AI matches.
Clear the League stage to unlock the Knockout round and aim for the title. Completing the campaign objectives will earn you a range of rewards, including a Show Time: Club International Cup Selection Contract, training programs, EXP, GP, and booster tokens.
Additional challenges will be added midway through the campaign. A separate themed event, Worldwide Clubs, lets you earn more rewards by completing PvP match challenges.
Each round of this event offers EXP and a Random Booster Token. There’s also a Special Daily Game where you advance 50% more spaces than usual after penalty kicks, giving you a faster route to extra progress and prizes.
New added player packs
Oh yeah, this is something I’m hyped about. Before going to the Coin Draw packs, I would like to point out the Club International Cup Selection Contract options for us, where we get to choose one player. This includes five players: Cavani, Beraldo, Facundo, Souflane, and Benja. Will drop a review soon.
European Club Championship Season’s Best pack brings a solid lineup with top-tier players like Big Time Dembele and Show Time Doue rated at 99 overall with Dumfries too. Trendyol Super Lig Season’s Best pack is a 100 card pack, but has Big Time Oshimen in it, so not sure if you want to skip it.
New faces added
New faces are now part of the update. While there are some new player faces, like Dorgu getting one added, a lot of refreshed looks are here. Araujo, Christensen and others, notably from Barcelona and Manchester United.
Other updates
v4.5.0 was a minor update, so a few changes were seen, yet it is pretty decent. Now, all non-Standard player cards are automatically locked when you get them, and Google authentication has been updated. Regular notifications from the app have also been removed.
Several in-game elements like strips, boots, stadium graphics, and commentary have been refreshed. The Mexican League has been mostly removed, though four clubs remain under a different region.
