FC Mobile has finally announced its plans for the current season in its recent monthly event preview livestream across Twitch and YouTube. And the big news is, EA has officially confirmed that there won’t be any Season Reset happening in FC Mobile 25, at least anytime soon in 2025!
EA has also assured that players can continue building their squads with their favorite players without having the fear of an impending reset. Additionally, FC Mobile has also revealed its next line-up for events for the upcoming months, with the first event arriving on tomorrow’s reset:

FC Mobile’s upcoming Event Roadmap includes some interesting names
In the recently concluded livestream, EA announced a plethora of events in the upcoming months, starting this Thursday, reset:
- Aqua vs Inferno
- Defining Legacies
- Ragnarok: Mighty Winter
- Ragnarok: After Daybreak
- Grassroot Greats
- Captains
From the above, the first two events, ie, the Aqua vs Inferno and Defining Legacies, are arriving soon, with the former coming on tomorrow’s reset. According to the stream, Aqua vs Inferno will be the main event, replacing TOTS, somewhat similar to the Fire and Ice event from the console version.
You will be picking a side between Team Aqua and Team Inferno and will be working your way through Star Skill Games. Yes, Star Skill Games are back! You will be collecting event Tokens and Shards, and progress down the Reward Path towards claiming a 106 OVR Zanetti or Maldini.
Following these events, EA will bring Defining Legacies next month, possibly on July 3rd, according to the Daily Login Rewards calendar. Following that will be the arrival of two new events, Ragnarok: Mighty Winter and Ragnarok: After Daybreak, which could be hinting at a new format of Treasure Hunt from seasons past.
Grassroot Greats, on the other hand, has been a popular event for the console version and could finally be making its way to FC Mobile this season. As the name suggests, the event represents players who have risen from local leagues and lower tiers of the football pyramid to the summit of world football. Finally, Captains has been a recurring event from the past season, focusing on both past and present players who have set an example on the field for their leadership.
Therefore, with upcoming events, we can also expect player OVRs to go well beyond 110 OVR, and very soon, the current 106-107 OVR players will become redundant as players with a higher overall will have better stats and a higher training level ceiling. This also could be a bane, as higher-rated players will only enlarge the gulf between pay-to-play and free-to-play players.
And that’s it, that’s about the announcement, with the main thing being that there will be no Season Reset happening in FC Mobile 25. Probably, we can expect a reset in 2026 with the Team of the Year event, as it happened this season earlier.
Therefore, keep building your team, and keep growing your team OVR with new players and old. There’s still a lot to play for this season, and therefore, without the reset happening anytime soon, you will retain all of your coins, gems, players, and progress throughout this year!
