- A fresh, immersive world that builds beautifully on the original game is what makes the experience special.
My Talking Tom Friends 2 has officially launched on mobile on both Android and iOS platforms, and as I write this, I’m sure you lot have already been part of the experience that is this title. While the experience is fresh thanks to a brand new world, it is clear that everything we loved about My Talking Tom Friends laid the groundwork for this bigger, better part 2 of the sequel.
From one house in the prequel to a whole street in the sequel
When I played My Talking Tom Friends for the first time, the charm came from watching all the characters live together under one roof. Chaotic and fun were the right words that one can put to this, but the same fun is multiplied by the second part.
Visually, you can see the colours are more attractive. You can say things feel less cramped and a lot more fleshed out. Everyone’s moved into their own home now, and honestly, that change alone makes the sequel feel bigger and more personal.

Tom’s got his rockstar loft, Angela’s space oozes creativity, Hank has a chilled-out hangout, Becca runs a tech hub, and Ben’s inventor garage is full of surprises. You’re not just shifting them from one room to another; you’re moving through this experience of a vibrant new world.
The new neighbourhood is packed with activity. Instead of everything being inside the house, you now walk through Main Street. There are a bunch of places to explore, such as a plant nursery, a supermarket, a clothes store, and even a health centre.
You’re not just tapping for the sake of it, you’re shopping, growing plants, picking outfits, and even scanning friends with X-rays. In the first game, you fed the friends in the kitchen. Here, you shop for food at the store, then serve it during picnics in the park. Tiny difference? Maybe. But it feels way more immersive.
The mini-games bring the world of Tom and his friends to life
My memories of playing Snakes and Ladders in the prequel were always the fondest, but here, the experience has been revamped. Along with multiple ways to access mini-games, there are loads of them situated inside the game.

You can even unlock the toys of your choice. Even something as simple as flying a paper plane has extra steps now, folding the plane, launching it at the right angle, and keeping it in the air with star boosts.
Another big upgrade is how expressive the characters are now. They speak with real voices, they react to what’s happening, and they feel more alive. This feature, combined with the day-night cycle feature, makes everything feel more involving.
With the heart of the original, the world just got bigger
Overall, you can see that the core idea from the first game is still here: taking care of your friends, helping with their needs, and keeping them happy. But this time, it’s all set in a world that feels like it belongs to them. You’re not stuck in one house anymore.
That’s what My Talking Tom Friends 2 does best: it keeps the heart of the original and wraps it in a world that finally feels big enough to hold it all.
Talking Tom Friends 2 is now live, you can download the title now Google Play Store on Android and App Store via iOS and experience the fun with Tom and his buddies. Check the official website for more details.
