gumi Inc. has announced that their highly anticipated sim RPG, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Ora Ora Overdrive, is set to launch in Fall 2025 on both Android and iOS, in Japan. Based on the beloved manga and anime series, the title was first revealed to be in development in March 2024.

Create your dream JoJo team and relive iconic moments from the anime

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Ora Ora Overdrive is revealed to be a simulation RPG that brings together characters from the first five parts of the iconic series, including Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, Stardust Crusaders, and more. You’ll be able to relive the anime with full voice acting, which is great.

As someone who’s a big fan of classic anime like Vinland Saga, Berserk, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and more, I’m very happy for this one. The idea of creating your team with iconic characters like Jotaro Kujo, Giorno Giovanna, and even villains, all in any combination you like, sounds fun.

Tactical battles, Assist Cards, classic JoJo charm, and more

You can look forward to the battle system, which incorporates tactical, grid-based strategy with an automatic combat option. You can also equip Assist Cards, featuring characters and scenes from the anime. There’s even an illustrated book and a relationship chart, letting you bond with them.

Overall, the game looks very promising, offering stunning visuals, Stands, auto battle, a detailed picture book function, iconic characters, and more. We can now only wait to see what gumi is cooking for us, considering their strong track record with The Alchemist Code, although some fans don’t like gumi.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Ora Ora Overdrive is scheduled to launch around Fall 2025 on both Android and iOS, in Japan. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. You can check out their official website for more updates.
