In July 2025, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) introduces a new Starlight Pass skin for the Fighter role hero, Phoveus, in the game. This is Phoveus’s first Starlight skin, and it will showcase him as a powerful ethereal entity.

New Starlight Skin
The July 2025 Starlight skin is titled Matrix Maverick skin, and the lucky hero to possess this skin will be Phoveus. Phoveus is a powerful fighter hero who can be a tanky fighter, countering a lot of heroes who use dashes in its vicnity.
His learning curve might be a bit complicated, as he is a difficult hero to play with. More than his disruptive abilities, he is also inherently tanky, making him a flexible pick in team compositions.
Since he is weaker in the early part of the game, he can use a good item like War Axe. This will provide solid damage output and lifesteal, which Phoveus benefits from. You can also refer to our latest tier list to learn more about this season’s meta heroes.
The new Phoveus “Matrix Maverick” skin has cool skin effects and portrays him as a powerful entity with some flashy new red-gold armour on the blue suit. These skin features are mostly observed when Phoveus uses his skill abilities, putting the theme colour’s effects on the battlefield.
After almost 4 years of waiting, Phoveus finally has a skin to remember, and should come as a sigh of relief for Phoveus mains.
Revamped Starlight First Purchase Rewards
As observed in the previous months, the Starlight Pass price would still cost 300 Diamonds, with the Premium Starlight Pass costing 750 Diamonds. Apart from the Exclusive Starlight Pass skin, other rewards can be obtained if you’re buying the Starlight Pass for the first time since its revamp in February 2023.
This Starlight First Time Purchase reward is meant for those MLBB fans who have not bought the Starlight pass ever, since it has been revamped (Since February 2023). The ones who are buying the new July 2025 Starlight Pass will be given a random Summer skin Chest, which will be granted to us on opening any of the following skins:

Starlight Exclusive Painted Skin
We would be able to get an Exclusive Phoveus “Matrix Maverick” Painted skin after buying the Starlight Pass. This painted skin would show Phoveus in a cool green-coloured version of the main skin.
July 2025 Starlight Bonus Painted Skin
Just as observed in previous months, Phoveus would also be getting an extra July 2025 Bonus Painted skin title Matrix Marauder, and it would cost 100 diamonds, whilst only being available for purchase by those who have purchased July 2025’s Starlight Pass. This Starlight Pass exclusive reward allows them to get a new Skin Trail effect to make the game more intriguing. The exclusive skin trail is usually seen when Phoveus leaves the base and goes further into the battlefield.
Starlight Sacred Statue
We would be getting a Phoveus Imperator Vitalis exclusive Sacred Statue by buying the Starlight Pass. The Sacred Statue would be contributing some extra bonuses to each match’s ending rewards.
Starlight Lucky Chest
The Starlight Chest will also be returning in July 2025; it will run from July 1st to 31st July, 2025. The Starlight Chest is well known for giving Starlight Chests to lucky individuals who draw in the event. It costs 10 diamonds per draw and would give many rewards, including normal and premium starlight cards. It can also be opened a total of 100 times.

The Starlight Shop skins would be available to obtain only if such a player has purchased the month’s Starlight Pass. Players should also note that all of these skins would be available for 3000 Starlight Fragments each. The exclusive Annual Starlight skins will be available for 5000 Starlight Fragments each.
