TopCog has announced that their roguelite bullet heaven, Neon Spellstorm, is scheduled to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August. The game is now open for pre-registration on mobile platforms, and according to the App Store’s listing, we can expect it to launch on August 11.
Get ready to dive into spell-slinging chaos in Neon Spellstorm
Neon Spellstorm is a wizard-themed roguelite action RPG where you play as a spell-slinging wizard. In this game, you’ll race across collapsing neon paths, dodging, blasting, and reshaping the terrain while surviving the mobs’ swarm from every angle.
You can enjoy chain-casting 28 unique spells with effects like echo, behemoth, havoc, renew, multicast, aftershock, and more, which sounds fun. Alongside that, there are 74 trinkets with wild effects that let you build overpowered combos.
Throughout the game, you’ll collect Orbs, Stars, Gems, and rare Neon to upgrade your Neon Core. These unlock more content, including new gear, spells, and challenges, while also adding to permanent progression.
Face the Neon Lord, master every wizard, and build your loadout
That said, I’m more excited to beat the Neon Lord to calm the Storm, which ultimately raises the Storm Level for powerful enemies and better loot. And I’m eager to try all 6 wizards, each with their signature abilities. You can choose Spells, Fates, Archetypes, and Sigils before each run.
All in all, the game looks fun, offering various wizards, unique spells, dynamic gear generation, permanent progression, pre-run loadout, branching zones, vibrant pixel art, procedurally generated levels, achievements, and more.
Neon Spellstorm is scheduled to launch on both Android and iOS in August. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. Stay tuned for more updates!
