PUBG Mobile has been closely following the esports roadmap and taking care of its circuit so well. Following the success so far this year, it will share the stage of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 to commence one of its flagship events, the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025. Scheduled to kick off on the 25th of July, the event will run till the first week of August.
PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025: Schedule and Format
There will be three stages in the esports event. The initial one, the Group Stage, will kick off on the 25th of July 2025 and will run till the 27th. The 24 teams will be divided into three groups and play 18 matches. The top 8 teams will move to the next stage. The rest of the teams will move to the Survival Stage.
The Survival Stage will begin on the 29th of July and will take place for two days. The top eight teams will advance to the next stage, while the rest of the teams will be eliminated. As the top 16 teams confirm their spots in the Grand Finals, it will kick off on the first day of August.
The grand finalists will play a total of 18 matches, where each day will end after six matches. This ultimate showdown will see the application of the Smash Rule as well, on the final day, however.
Participant Teams
There will be a total of 24 teams to fight for the ultimate prize. To win over the crown of PUBGM’s best esports team so far this year, these participants will go all out. These teams are invited from several Super Leagues that took place in different regions. Besides, there will be a host country invited team and the champion of BMPS 2025.

Prize Pool
The prize pool is massive, over three million USD will be spent on the teams. The exact amount is $3,050,000, for which the teams will fight their best. The champion team will receive the highest amount, followed by the other teams.
The exact breakdown of the prize pool will be shared at a later date, and we will update this article when the information is available.
Where to watch the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025
The event will take place offline, but not everyone will have the opportunity to watch it live. However, its online presence will ensure that everyone gets a chance to watch it live.
