Ubisoft has announced that the launch of their competitive, multiplayer tactical shooter title, Rainbow Six Mobile, is now available on both Android and iOS in Latin America. A part of the beloved Rainbow Six Siege franchise, it was announced for soft launch in this region back in 2023.

If you’re unaware, Rainbow Six Mobile is a competitive multiplayer tactical shooter and a mobile adaptation of the popular title. After being delayed indefinitely in July 2024, but after a period of time, the Global Launch Roadmap was finally revealed in November and has finally launched in LATAM now.
Now, if you’re from the LATAM region, you can enjoy the classic Attack vs. Defense gameplay, where you alternate each round as an Attacker or Defender. Moreover, the fast-paced PvP action combined with the tactical decisions with smart tactical decisions and close-quarter combat makes the game very fun.
As someone who has played a lot of Siege and CS:GO on PC, I’m very excited for this mobile release. Moreover, I’m also eager to choose from a variety of popular Operators, each with unique abilities and gadgets. Plus, the game version also includes iconic maps like Bank and Clubhouse.
Break walls, set traps, dominate the battlefield, and more
Another cool part that you’re surely going to enjoy is that you can make the environment a key part of your tactics, like using your weapons or Operator’s abilities to breach through destructible walls and ceilings or even set up traps, fortify your locations, varying on whether you’re an attacker or defender.
Overall, this mobile adaptation looks really promising, offering a variety of popular Operators, their cool gadgets, iconic maps, game modes, destructable environments, strategic team-based PvP, prep phase, and more. I’m looking forward to the global launch, as I’m eager to try it on mobile.
