Rovio’s Angry Birds Bounce to launch on Apple Arcade with a roguelite brick-breaker twist on July 3

  • Angry Birds Bounce puts a new twist on the classic franchise with fast-paced, arcade-style brick-breaker action.
  • The game features the biggest Angry Birds roster, roguelite features, skill-based gameplay, enhanced visuals, and more.
  • You need an Apple Arcade subscription to play, costing $6.99 per month, with prices varying by region.

Rovio Entertainment has announced that its new arcade-style grid-based puzzle title, Angry Birds Bounce, is set to launch on Apple Arcade on July 3. The game was recently revealed via Apple Newsroom as part of Apple Arcade’s July lineup, bringing a fun twist to the series’ slingshot action.

Get ready for bouncing gameplay and roguelite challenges

Angry Birds Bounce brings a new spin on the classic franchise, blending the charm of Angry Birds with fast-paced, arcade-style brick-breaker gameplay. In this title, you can collect your favorite birds, form powerful flocks, and bounce them across the grid to take down the piggies’ army.

As someone who grew up loving the original titles and even the Bad Piggies spin-off, I’m excited for this title. Plus, thanks to the incorporation of roguelite elements, you’ll get to experience new challenges in each level, with unique power-ups, and more.

Engage with the biggest roster of Angry Birds characters yet

What makes it even better is that it features the largest lineup of Angry Birds characters to date. From Red, Chuck, and Bomb to many more iconic faces, you can enjoy mixing and matching their abilities for fun combos and powerful moves.

The game surely looks fun, packed with enhanced character animations and visuals, strategic depth, roguelite mechanics, a variety of nostalgic gameplay, and more. While I can’t predict if it’ll be a hit, I’m hoping it reintroduces the same excitement the franchise once had, maybe I’m just nostalgic right now.

Angry Birds Bounce is set to launch on Apple Arcade on July 3, 2025. You can check out the title on the App Store, and to play, you’ll need an Apple Arcade subscription, which costs $6.99 a month, varying based on regions.
