Join Karl Fairburne once again on a covert mission to stop Operation Kraken
Sniper Elite 5 is a sniping sim that delivers intense, tactical third-person combat, along with the series’ iconic X-ray kill cam. Set in 1944 France, you play as Karl Fairburne, an elite marksman and the series’ protagonist, who teams up with the French Resistance on a covert US Rangers mission.
Your main goal is to dismantle the Atlantikwall defences along Brittany’s coasts. But things escalate when they uncover a top-secret Nazi plan that could end the war before the Allies can even invade Europe: Operatation Kraken.
Experience upgraded kill cams, immersive maps, and more
As someone who’s played a few titles on PC and loves them, I’m excited to see this finally being ported to mobile and Mac. You can look forward to battling across detailed, immersive maps based on real-world locations, captured using photogrammetry.
Gameplay-wise, the game’s action-packed and satisfying. Moreover, the signature X-ray kill cam has been enhanced, now letting you trigger it using SMGs, pistols, and bullets that can unpredictably deflect off bones. There’s also an improved traversal system, customization, gun physics, and more.
Sniper Elite 5 is set to launch on iOS and Mac in Q1 2026. You can check and sign up on Rebellion Games‘ official website for more updates.
