Smilegate, known for Outerplane and more, has announced that pre-registration for their new collectible RPG, Chaos Zero Nightmare, is set for July. Developed by Super Creative, the game’s second trailer, Embrace Despair, has been released, showcasing actual gameplay, creatures, and more.

Chaos Zero Nightmare is a collectible RPG that blends deck-building with features from multiple genres, offering a fresh twist. Set in a haunting, dark fantasy universe ruined by a mysterious force called Chaos, the game drops you into a world teeming with eerie, otherworldly monsters.

The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting where Earth and other planets have become inhabitable. Remaining survivors are forced into spacebound arks, leaving behind their homes. That said, I’m excited to dive into CZN’s unique world and collect and upgrade characters Renoa, Haru, and more.

I must say, Super Creative’s new IP, CZN, really looks promising. Moreover, its unique card-based battle system and lineup of monsters, not found in typical anime RPGs, definitely caught my eye in the latest gameplay trailer. If you’re intrigued, you should wait for its pre-registration.
