- Supercell is removing Supercell ID account names.
- They will now be adding new Player IDs based on your in-game name.
- Your in-game name and game progress will not be affected by this update.
Supercell has officially revealed the transitions from account names to Player ID as they bid goodbye to Supercell ID names. Supercell will now employ something called unique Player ID, and here are all the details you should know.
You can change your Supercell Player ID one time for free using the official website
These Player IDs are automatically generated and are meant to serve as unique identifiers tied to your in-game names. The transition is automatic, so players don’t need to take any action unless they wish to change their newly assigned Player ID.
If you’re not fond of the ID you’ve been given, Supercell is offering a one-time free change option. To go with this process, all you need to do is head to the official website, then type your unique ID in the space. Once done, click on Submit, and you will be done.
Once the name is selected, you can’t change it; remember this. Also note that, unlike names, a user’s name once selected, for example “Santon”, cannot be used by other players.
Speaking about the Supercell ID, it was created to help you keep your game account safe and backed up. It lets you switch easily between devices without losing your progress. Whether you’re playing on your phone or tablet, your Supercell games stay connected.

Note that this change doesn’t affect your in-game name or your progress in any of Supercell’s games like Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Squad Busters, mo.co, or Hay Day.
