Cygames, Inc. has officially launched their 3D sports life simulation title, Umamusume: Pretty Derby, now available globally on Android, iOS, and PC. A huge hit in Japan, the global version was announced on June 24, with the launch date revealed earlier on April 28, 2025, and pre-registration also went live.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby, the adorable and widely loved sim in Asia, has finally made its global debut after surpassing 30 million downloads in the Asia region. As part of the Umamusume Project, you play as a trainer, helping unique Umamusumes, each with a unique charm, to win as much as possible.
These Umamusumes, like Silence Suzuka, Tokai Teio, Mejiro McQueen, and more, are legendary racehorses reborn as beautiful girls who live to run. I’m super excited to scout over 20 of them, and train them using the game’s in-depth training system.
Global launch brings new features, faster content updates, and exciting collaborations
In this version, you can look forward to faster content flow. Events and Scouts still follow their original durations, but they’ll release with shorter gaps in between them. Plus, specific unlaunched features in the JP version are available, like landscape mode in races and jukebox. Lastly, it supports cross-platform.
Cygames is celebrating the global launch with various events and collaborations, which are as follows:
- You can now join a giveaway event on the global version’s X account, running until July 10, with prizes like an iPhone 16 Pro, 500,000 carats, and more.
- You can also stream the game’s complete soundtrack, featuring around 1,000 tracks, on major platforms like Spotify.
- Cygames will be present at Anime Expo 2025 in Los Angeles and Japan Expo 2025 in Paris, where you can experience this and other Cygames titles.
- Starting June 30, Round1 USA is going to sell Umamusume: Pretty Derby collectors’ game cards in the USA for $5. These cards will be also available at Cygames’ Anime Expo booth.
- They’ve also teamed up with France Galop as the main sponsor of the Grand Prix de Paris, a prestigious horse racing event taking place in July 2025.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby is now available globally on Android, iOS, and PC. You can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store.
