Nexelon inc. has announced that they will soon launch their casual strategy title, What Duck, on both Android and iOS, with pre-registration now live. According to the App Store’s listing, the game is expected to launch on June 13, 2025.

What Duck is a casual real-time strategy title with a 2D tower defense twist, all centred around ducks. In this game, you’ll command a quirky and adorable army of duck soldiers, strategically use the tower defense system to fend off waves of monsters, and defend your castle.
With the recent rise of Cats, Dogs, and even Capybaras in games, it looks like Ducks are next. I’m personally loving the goofy duck theme, and looking forward to the Hero ducks, which are stronger than the duck soldiers with unique skills. You can also upgrade them with various equipment.
There’s also a card system that makes it more fun. You can collect cards that boost stats or trigger special effects, and play them at the right time to turn the tide of the game. Overall, the game looks fun, packed with various systems, offline play, simple mechanics, easy difficulty, charming visuals, and more.
