- COD Mobile x Gundam collab drops July 2, 2025, bringing a massive mecha-themed crossover.
- Expect Gundam-inspired operator skins, weapon blueprints, and limited-time events in the game.
The world of COD Mobile is going to be lit up with yet another amazing collaboration that is coming soon. COD Mobile has announced a mega collaboration with the popular Gundam franchise, which is confirmed to be arriving on July 2, 2025.
COD Mobile x Gundam collab can bring themed events and operator skins
Announced via the official CODM Twitter/X handle, the collaboration teased the arrival of the towering Gundam units with the caption, “Standing in the shadow of a titan“. Also to note that it marks the 30th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing mecha anime series.
Going by the previous collabs, we can expect mecha-themed operator skins, weapon blueprints, and possibly even themed multiplayer or battle royale content influenced by the Gundam universe. Bandai Namco‘s Gundam franchise has been a major hit over the years.
We have also seen mobile games from the franchise, including SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL, Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage, and the now-defunct Gundam Breaker Mobile. The most recent collaboration was NieR: Automata, which arrived with the Season 5 2025 – Primal Reckoning update, where we players were invited to join the elite YoRHa Unit in a themed event.
The NieR: Automata collab and update also saw Kestrel – YoRHa No. 2 Type B and Fiona St. George – Commander White. Although the date has been announced, more details about the collab are yet to be known. Just like the previous collab, we can see it implemented in the upcoming Season 6 of COD Mobile. I will keep you updated on this space with more updates.
