Guild Battle is an important game mode in Cookie Run: Kingdom since it gives you weekly rewards. The higher ranked your guild is, the better rewards you’ll get. However, it’s hard to be in a high-ranked guild if you don’t do enough damage to the bosses. One of the bosses in Guild Battle of Cookie Run Kingdom is the Red Velvet Dragon Boss, and here are some tips on how to fight it.
How to beat the Red Velvet Dragon Boss in Cookie Run: Kingdom
Red Velvet Dragon: Best Team to Use

Dark Choco requires precise stat allocation to maximize effectiveness: his damage resistance must be exactly 75% (the cap when including the landmark bonus), while his HP should hover around 80%, though this can be increased if survivability becomes an issue. Additionally, he benefits from 10-11% cooldown reduction, though this should only be prioritized after meeting his defensive requirements.
Shadow Milk, another critical component, needs 35% cooldown, maximum crit rate, and either maximum attack speed or attack (ensuring he doesn’t surpass Candy Apple or Black Sapphire in attack power). His toppings should be either five crit with a cooldown tart or four crit and one cooldown with a crit tart, paired with a full cooldown Beascuit.
Prune Juice follows a similar structure, requiring 35% cooldown, max crit, and max attack speed, again ensuring he doesn’t interfere with Black Sapphire’s attack priority. Black Sapphire serves as the primary damage dealer, needing at least 8.5% cooldown, max crit, and max attack, with his attack stat being the highest or second-highest in the team.
Candy Apple’s build varies depending on whether she has Whistle: with it, she needs 50-55% damage resistance, around 8% cooldown, and maximum attack speed, while without it, her damage resistance should increase to 60-70%.
The following Treasures should be equipped for this boss challenge:
- Sleepyhead’s Jelly Watch
- Dream Conductor’s Whistle
- Old Pilgrim’s Scroll
Battle Strategy
Execution begins by queuing Dark Choco first, followed by casting Prune Juice, Shadow Milk, Black Sapphire, and Candy Apple after the boss banner appears. After the dragon pushes the team back, Dark Choco’s next cast should be delayed until he starts walking forward (around the 40-second mark), after which the battle can be left on full auto, ensuring Black Sapphire and Dark Choco avoid the stun. This setup typically yields around 14 billion damage.
