- eFootball 2025 has arrived with yet another run of the Epic National Midfielders pack.
- Featuring Iniesta, Nedved, and Van Der Vaart, the first two cards come with Show Time skills.
Fresh off the pitch, eFootball 2025 brings another exciting addition for midfield maestros with the Epic National Midfielders Pack. This time, the spotlight shines on three iconic playmakers: Andres Iniesta, Pavel Nedved, and Rafael van der Vaart.
All three cards are geared towards your offensive play, making them enticing options to strengthen your squad’s offensive engine. In this detailed review, let’s dive in and see how these three midfield maestros stack up.
Andres Iniesta
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
- Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling
From the stats, one can say that this card is the best of the Iniesta cards we have to date. He’s one of those players who makes the game feel slower, not because he’s slow, but because he’s always a step ahead.
Dribbling with him is almost like dancing; he can weave through defensive traffic with ease thanks to the ultra-tight ball control and fluid turns. His first touch, close control, and movement are arguably some of the best in the game.

While he’s not your go-to goal scorer, he creates the moments that lead to goals. The passing range is exceptional, and he shines best when the play is built around him, whether it’s a one-touch combo, a cheeky cut-in, or a through ball behind the line.
That said, don’t expect physical duels or long dribbling sprints. Iniesta is all about finesse. For the best performance, I ask you to use him in the middle as an AMF with free movement. He’ll link midfield to attack effortlessly and always find the smart pass.
Pavel Nedved
- Position: LMF
- Playing Style: Box To Box
- Showtime Skill: Edged Crossing
Nedved brings non-stop energy and all-around excellence. He’s that type of midfielder who can do it all, press, pass, shoot, and still have stamina left in the 90th minute. He’s quick off the mark, has an absolute cannon of a shot.

The best thing about Nedved is how reliable he is in transition. His passing is crisp, and if you give him space outside the box, that long-range shot can be a game-changer. While his dribbling isn’t as silky as Iniesta’s, it’s controlled enough to beat defenders when needed.
He’s most effective in a wide midfielder or even CMF role in a formation that allows him to press high and shoot often, he thrives when he’s everywhere since he just feels like a tireless engine on the wing or in central midfield. If you want the work rate with an end product, this is your guy.
Rafael van der Vaart
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
- Showtime Skill: None
Van der Vaart feels like the definition of a luxury attacking midfielder, the type of player you sub in when you want a spark of magic (will add on the sub part next). His on-ball control is smooth and clean, and I think this has been something that he has had on every card he got.

You’ll immediately notice how well he links up play with those one-touch passes and precise through balls. His positioning is pretty good, pace is decent too. While he’s not the fastest or strongest card at the position, don’t expect him to charge through quickly or fight off defenders physically.
That being said, he still isn’t a card I feel would be a banger of a player when I start, because there are better cards to be fair. So, I found him most dangerous as a late-game sub, that Super Sub trait genuinely adds a spark when the game needs a difference maker.
Purely looking at the offensive side of these midfielders, we have two awesome cards who can be starters for your squad. If you need some impressive players in the attack, these cards will do the trick.
