Single-player Show Time packs are slowly gaining popularity as eFootball 2025 introduced Luka Modric as an ST card following the end of his Real Madrid stint. I’m sure most of the players will go for this card, given how solid any Modric card is, so here’s a review after pulling him and trying him for a good number of games.
This is a 50-card pack, so the odds of pulling Modric remain the same, just like the 150-player pack. Three featured cards of his Real Madrid teammates are also here, although they aren’t the versions of their time there.
Luka Modric
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Orchestrator
- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass
The reason I wanted this card is simple: it is Luka Modric, and he is one of my favourite midfielders. I didn’t get his WC POTW card. Coming to this card, this card looks to be on the calmer side, the ones who want to dictate play, link defense to attack, and then create plays as well.
His player ID has been the same, and this one too. Modric feels feather-light when turning, keeps the ball glued to his foot, and always finds the right option. With great stats for the card when it comes to on the ball, the game slows down around him since you can keep it glued to his feet.

Now, although he’s not your guy for tackles or bullying opponents, he doesn’t have the physicality for the same. He’s more about reading the game, cutting off passing lanes, and getting the team ticking again. I did notice, as a starter, he used to get gassed quickly, so this is something you need to take care of.
As for the build, I feel leaning him slightly towards the offensive role would be better, his card pushes to 103 when built as an AMF, but have it somewhere in the middle, while you can have a good physical DMF paired alongside him.
Featured Cards
Here are the overviews of the three featured cards in the pack.

- Dani Carvajal (RB/Offensive Wingback): A dependable fullback who doesn’t tire. He presses hard, overlaps well, and is good defensively. Crossing feels nice, and the pace is also on the higher side, so the card is decent.
- Casemiro (DMF/Anchor Man): If you like midfield destroyers who throw their body into every battle, this is your man. Casemiro holds the line like a brick wall, loves stepping in to intercept, and is always lurking for a big challenge. Doesn’t have speed, which is a concern.
- Marco Asensio (CF/Deep Lying Forward): Decent card. He links play well and is a reliable finisher. His movement is smart, and he gets into good pockets, but his overall consistency can be hit or miss. Great option off the bench, and better as an SS in my opinion.
If you love playing patient, composed football, Modric is a gem. He’s not the flashiest in terms of stats, but his player ID and feel in-game are exceptional. For those who build from midfield and want someone to make everything smoother and cleaner, this is easily one of the best midfield cards this year.
